DUI...

Getting convicted with DUI affects many things..

You get fingerprinted and your offence is permanent meaning it shows that you're a criminal offender every time you come back here from outside of the United States.

Yes, I go back to Japan at least two times a year and yet, I get stopped at port of entry every time.

It affects your job too. If your job is something involving driving such as Truck Driver, you'll automatically lose the job. If you are seeking a new job, the fact you have DUI on your criminal record makes harder for you to be hired. A lots of companies do your background check by using your Drivers License.

Getting convicted with 2nd DUI... is worse. You lose your Drivers License for 18months. I should say losing DL is almost same as you lose your life. You lose lots of Social communication as well as job opportunities.

A lot of people who got DUI more likely to get another DUI a couple weeks later the 1st one. This is because they get frustrated and keep drinking..

If you still want to drink, don't go outside, just stay home and drink...

I totally understand how you feel, but once you go out drinking, there are many things to get you in trouble again such as drunk in public, fighting with someone, etc.

Three times strike, everyone. If you get three times of convictions, no matter what the charges are, it's automatically gonna make you become a felony offender... Not worth it.
